The Caribbean Pelican is part of the Caribbean Series produced by highly esteemed MDM Mint, one of the largest of the international mints. This remarkably fine second annual release in the Caribbean Pelican series features the Brown Pelican – the national bird of Barbados. Although the Brown Pelican is the smallest of the species, it is still large seabird. They are very entertaining to watch as they dive-bomb into the waves from a significant height while feeding.
